Russell Camper has been working in the construction industry for over 22 years. Beginning with a humble start working as a carpenter building custom decks in Chapel Hill, he quickly moved up to lead carpenter and received Parade of Homes awards for his deck work. Moving on to learn and master framing custom homes for several years throughout the triangle area, Russell was ready for new challenges. He started working with a home remodeler where he fine-tuned his skills in interior renovations and residential additions. During a slow winter, Russell had a chance encounter with a multi-family construction firm where he started as a sub-contractor for about a year before they offered him a position with their firm. Russell started out as a project supervisor and quickly moved up the ranks, working with the national construction firm for seven years. Before leaving the firm to start his own business, he was the regional project manager, managing projects from North Carolina to Maryland.

Russell obtained his general contractor’s license and started his first company in 2009, specializing in multi-family renovation and maintenance. It quickly blossomed into a multimillion-dollar company performing work throughout the Southeast. Missing time with family, he decided to reduce the area he performed services in and now only provides services in the Raleigh, Durham, and Cary areas including a few surrounding cities. This has allowed Russell to provide an even higher level of service and be “hands on” with the projects. This also allows him to be more active in giving back to the community. He and his wife Lindsey are members of their local Rotary Club, where they participate in monthly service projects as well as working with Habitat for Humanity on local homes. The couple also donates time and money to multiple nonprofits and charitable organizations, both through the company and as individuals. Russell believes that this is his way of being a good steward of his blessings.

When Russell is not working with his team to provide renovation and maintenance services and giving back, he spends most of his time with his wife Lindsey and their children while also sneaking in some time to fish, kayak and play golf.
